The voltage in the Netherlands is 220-230 volt. Various types of adapters can be borrowed free of charge from reception 24 hours a day.

Air-conditioning

Not all rooms in our hotel have air-conditioning. You can ask reception for a fan, free of charge, subject to availability. For more information, please contact reception.

Alarm

In the event of an emergency, please contact reception immediately (2955).

Cot

We can put a cot in your room at your request. The charges for the cot are € 10,- per night.

Luggage

We provide the option for you to leave your luggage with reception for the entire day.

Luggage assistance

We would be pleased to assist you with moving your luggage to and from the room. Please contact reception any time of the day.

Bar Grand Café

Visit our Grand Café for a drink or free coffee and tea. The bar is opened every day until 2 AM.

Fire alarm

Please take the following measures in the event of a fire:
– Raise the alarm by activating the red fi re call point and warning reception. Close all the doors and windows.
– Leave the hotel as quickly as possible via the stairs and/or the emergency exits.
– Never use the lift!
– Comply with the instructions of the hotel employees, the police and the fire brigade.

We accept the following credit cards: Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa, American Express.

Dinner vouchers

As we do not have a restaurant, we sell 3-course dinner vouchers for various restaurants within walking distance. Our reception staff will be pleased to provide you with more information.

Doctor/dentist

Should you need a doctor and/or dentist during your stay, please inform reception. Make sure you have your insurance details and identification documents with you.

Drinks

A number of different drinks are available in the hotel’s Grand Café.

First Aid

For any first-aid requirements, please contact reception.

Extra services

Extra pillows, sheets, duvets, face cloths and towels are available free of charge from reception 24 hours a day.

Fax and copying service

Our reception employees are able to send faxes or make copies 24/7 on your behalf.

Gym

The hotel has a gym. The gym in on the first floor, above the reception. It is available 24 hours a day. For more information, please contact reception.

Hair dryer

There is a hair dryer in the bathroom or the wardrobe in your bedroom.

Internet

To connect with the WIFI, you need to go to the settings of your mobile device. Choose for WIFI and make a connection with the Flonk Hotel WIFI, the password of the network is ‘Welcome1’. When you are connected with the WIFI there will open a box where you can accept the terms and conditions. For more information, please contact reception (telephone number 2955).

Save Deposit

We have a safe available at the reception where you can store your items.

Coffee and tea

You can enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee in the Grand Café. It’s also possible to make coffee or tea in your room.

Newspapers

Dutch newspapers are available in our Grand Café every day.

Lobby computer

You can use the computer in the lobby free of charge 24 hours a day. If you would like to print out something, this is possible via the printer at reception.

Mineral water

Mineral water is available from our hotel employees or from the vending machine in the lobby 24 hours a day. You can drink our tap water.

Sewing kit

If you need a sewing kit, they are available from reception.

Emergencies

Call reception in the event of emergencies, State your room number and the type of emergency or call 112 for the national emergency service.

Breakfast

A breakfast buffet is available in the Grand Café from Mondays to Fridays between 7.00 hours and 10.00 hours. On Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast is available from 8.00 hours to 11.00 hours. If you wish to depart before breakfast, you have the option to order a ‘breakfast to go’ from reception. They will be pleased to provide you with more information.

Public transport

Reception will be pleased to provide you with the information you need.

Parking

You can park in the hotel’s underground car park for € 17,- per night. Due to the limited parking space, please leave your car keys with reception. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we have a valet parking service and they will drive your car in and out of the car park.

Post

Reception will provide you with stamps at cost, and will also send your post.

Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

Restaurant

If you wish to book a table in a restaurant, please contact reception. We would be pleased to refer you to restaurants in the vicinity of Flonk Hotel Groningen Centre.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted throughout the hotel. If we notice that somebody smoked in the room, we charge an additional € 250,- in cleaning costs.

Shoe polish

On the ground fl oor there is a shoe polishing machine, where you can polish your shoes free of charge.

Keycard

A second keycard for your hotel room is available on request if you would like to have electricity in your room whilst you are out. For more information, please contact reception.

Faults/technical defects

If you observe any faults or defects in your room, please inform reception (2955). They will make sure that the problem is solved as soon as possible.

Iron and ironing board

If you wish to use an iron and ironing board, please contact reception. You can use the iron and the ironing board throughout your stay.

Taxi

Reception can book a taxi for you at any time.

Telephone

For reception, please dial 2955. For an outside line, please ring reception first, give them the number you wish to call and they will put you through. To call another hotel room, dial 3 followed by the room number you wish to contact.

Temperature

All rooms have heating. You can also open the window.

Tourist information

Information about excursions, cycle routes etc. in the area is available from reception.

Toiletries

Various toiletries, such as a shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste are available from reception.

Checking out

On the day of your departure, please leave your room before 12.00 hours. You can leave your luggage with reception for the entire day if required. It is also possible to book a late check-out with reception, subject to availability and a charge.

Meeting rooms

The hotel has 4 meeting rooms. These are located on the ground floor and on the first floor

Vending machine

There is a shop in the lobby. where you can obtain drinks, sweets and snacks 24 hours a day.

Loss and/or theft

Flonk Hotel Groningen Centre does not accept any liability for loss and/or theft of personal property.

You can ask reception for a wake-up call.
